Typically, 6-8 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart are needed to target hair during its growth phase and achieve long-term reduction. Before your treatment, avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks to reduce the risk of pigmentation changes. It’s important to have the maximum contrast between your skin tone and hair – so no tanning (even spray tanning!) We recommend you stop sugaring or waxing at least 4 weeks before treatment, and then shave about 3 days before your appointment.

There is no pain after the treatment, so you can continue about your regular activities. It is important to keep the area clean and avoid direct sun exposure for a few days. You may also need to avoid certain skincare products like retinoids or exfoliants for a short time following the treatment. We also recommend waiting 24 hours to bathe, and avoiding pools/hot tubs for 72 hours after treatment.
